Yes, I know, the topics in the title of the Journal are quite not connected.
1. The Casual Vacancy : I finished the reading a few days ago. I'm still under the feeling. Keeping it for myself, in case you are willing to give it a try. Finally I saw Rowling in it but it is indeed different from Harry Potter. Special mention for some hint to young Severus, though (from my biased point of view).
2. Sherlock Holmes : the TV series on BBC. Seriously, I'm late on this one, I know. I spent the few last evenings watching. I shall say, I REALLY love it.
3. (for adults only) Fifty Shades of Grey : I know almost nothing of it, I haven't read it, and it is going to be published finally. Is it worth the reading?
4. Me : I'm okay, and sorry for not being much on line lately. Which means about 7,000 deviations and messages left in my inbox ... I am being very tired and busy, nothing more. I hope you're doing well.

...New Year
Happy 2019 to everyone !
I am still alive, unfortunately mostly away from dA, and too busy IRL. Looking forward more dA and drawing time. And more importantly, I hope you are still on line and healthy and happy.
My best wishes for 2019!

Happy New Year (everyone) and birthday (Sev)
This is what happens when I suddenly see the calendar ...
Dear friends, life has been complicated for me this last year. Things are getting better and only my health remains quite weak (or more precisely, my sad moods)
Which explains why I don’t draw much, what with the lack of strength (and self-confidence)
It will be all over, hopefully, within the new months. I wish you the best, love and inspiration in 2018.
And, no matter what, happy birthday to Sev ! May he live forever for us.
Best wishes
Happy 2017 and Snape's birthday to everyone, with all my best wishes for the future.
2016 was mostly awful to me as well, therefore it should get better, and I crave for new hopes and happier times.
Hopefully, with a few new drawings, who knows - if my inspiration and self-confidence come back. No matter what else happened, 2016 was good for the HP fans, especially with the Fantastic Beasts. And I am happy to be still around, even if not so active, and staying for people I deeply appreciate - Gryffgirl (https://www.deviantart.com/gryffgirl) , arcanetrivia (https://www.deviantart.com/arcanetrivia), esperanza111 (https://www.deviantart.com/esperanza111) , kasmunaut (https://www.deviantart.com/kasmunaut), acatnamedeaster (https://www.deviantart.com/acatnamedeaster), ... , and all of you, every HP fan, artist and person I c
Fantastic Beasts...(edit)
Okay, so I watched it. And I love it.
and you?
(No spoilers here)
- the characters are very touching, Newt included (Hufflepuff pride). I fell in love with the No-Maj, he is excellent. The two sisters are well-thought characters and I love the actresses. I am especially happy with the actors not looking like standard empty top models. Was particularly interested in Credence for obvious reasons, I wish he could have more character development. I hope there will be more...
- mission accomplished with the fantastic beasts, but then the 2D does not do justice to this film and I need to re-watch it in 3D. Special love for the Niffler.

1. The Casual Vacancy: right now I'm debating with myself if I will read it. I normally don't read novels based in the "real" world. Got too much real world in my real life. Reading is an escape, so I usually go for something sci-fi or fantasy...
2. Sherlock Holmes: been a Holmes fan since my teens and was really apprehensive about the series. I ended up loving it (the BBC one!). It's true to the original characters, while being modern and edgy, awesome tour-de-force. I don't care for the US version. Sorry!
3. Fifty Shades of Grey: Haven't read it, don't plan to. S/M does not excite me and the set-up of impressionable young girl and controlling older guy is so cliche I think my inner feminist is going to spend more time gagging than feeling aroused or excited. I rather spend the time having real sex the way I like it.
4. Me: I hear you. I have lots of catch-up to do as well. Hope you get some more time for yourself soon!
